Integrated Science Instrument Module (ISIM)
The ISIM is the Payload of the JWST. The ISIM includes the
following instruments:
1. Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) - provided by the European Consortium
(EC) (with the European Space Agency (ESA)) and the NASA Jet Propulsion
Laboratory (JPL)
2. Near-Infrared Spectrograph (NIRSpec) - provided by ESA
3. Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) - provided by the University of Arizona
4. Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS) - provided by the Canadian Space Agency
(CSA). The FGS contains a dedicated Guider (FGS-Guider) and an FGS-Tunable
Filter Camera (FGS-TF).
